Ascendo Resources is partnering with a leading national law firm client that is actively seeking a skilled Capital Markets Associate to join their team in their office in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a sophisticated practice focused on U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance and capital markets transactions for a wide range of clients from innovative, fast- growing companies preparing to go public to established public corporations.

Position Overview:

• Title: Associate – Capital Markets & Public Company Advisory
• Location: Jacksonville, FL (other offices may be considered)
• Experience Required: 3-6 years
• Practice Focus: Capital Markets, Securities, Corporate Governance
• Bar Admission: Must be in good standing in the state of Florida.

Required Experience:

Ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience advising public companies and issuers on:

• SEC compliance and reporting obligations
• Capital markets transactions (IPOs. Follow-ons, debt offerings, etc.
• Corporate governance and fiduciary duties
• Disclosure requirements under federal securities laws
• Drafting offering documents, SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), and proxy statements

Additional Requirements and skillsets:

• Strong legal writing and drafting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A collaborative mindset and proactive attitude
• Comfort level working directly with senior partners and clients
• A JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar membership and in good standing
