Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Equipment Coordinator to join the team at our Houston-based office . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates with basic experience in equipment tracking, vendor coordination, and purchasing—particularly in construction or rental environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate scheduling of vendor and internal appointments
• Utilize ToolWatch to manage and update equipment and tool tracking
• Assist in purchasing and procurement of tools and rental equipment
• Coordinate logistics for heavy construction equipment and rentals
• Support vendor relationships, documentation, and invoice tracking
• Perform general administrative tasks using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Communicate and collaborate with field staff to support project needs

Technical & Physical Requirements:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ViewPoint, and Oracle
• Experience with ToolWatch is a plus
• 1–3 years’ experience in purchasing, buying, or vendor management preferred
