Job Description

Our client, a prestigious hedge fund located in New York, NY is seeking a Receptionist / Office Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to maintain high standards of professionalism throughout the workday.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the scheduling, setup, and reset of conference rooms to ensure spaces are clean, presentable, and ready for internal and external meetings
  • Greet and direct clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, serving as a first point of contact for the firm
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of shared spaces including reception, conference rooms, and pantry areas throughout the day
  • Coordinate with facilities and administrative teams to restock supplies and support meeting needs (e.g., catering, AV setup)
  • Assist with special projects or general administrative tasks as assigned by office management

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–2 years of prior office, hospitality, or front-desk experience in a corporate or financial services setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with poise
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel
