The Digital & Physical Sales manager will set and execute global D2C and streaming strategy for all artists on the Pure Noise roster. They will maintain relationships with new and current retail and digital streaming avenues to create partnerships and opportunities that allow artists to maximize their reach across all platforms.
General Responsibilities
o Secure favorable positioning for Pure Noise artists and releases on DSPs
o Develop and manage effective label partnerships with indie retail and DSP, including their specific playlist, editorial, marketing and promotional teams
o Remain aware of emerging trends and new business in the rock space
o Collaborate with product managers and other members of the Pure Noise team to create successful release strategies and campaigns for each individual release
o In charge of overseeing all sales analytics and providing Pure Noise team with reports on all sales activity
o Provide regular reporting to artists and their managers, and be responsive to their inquiries and needs
Digital Sales
o Pitch all songs directly to the major DSP editors and label reps
o Pitch all songs in DSP on platform pitching programs
o Work directly with DSPs for on and off platform programming and marketing initiatives
o Solicit priority singles to internet and SXM radio
o Submit Spotify countdown pages, merch and Marquee campaigns
o Update all new artist photos on all DSP platforms when necessary
o Create weekly playlist reports
Physical Sales & Retail / D2C / Promotions
o Maintain the label’s D2C stores via Shopify worldwide
o Set up all pre-orders with each D2C per album campaign
o Design D2C sales throughout the year to promote repeat spending
o Record monthly vinyl and CD inventory worldwide and move units based on stock and sales
o Source trending merch items and designs for official label and artist merch
o Solicit exclusive vinyl variants to indie record stores throughout the world such as Newbury
Comics, Amoeba, Zia Records, Banquet Records and Rough Trade
o Liaison with retailers to carry exclusive merch
o Solicit indie retail marketing programs and independent store marketing opps like racking, window clings, etc
o Spearhead artist in-store performances and signing events with record stores around album
release week
o Oversee pop up and brand partnership events relating to album releases
o Source billboards and wheatpasting throughout the US
o Create the official Pure Noise newsletters and SMS sends weekly via Klaviyo
Specific Requirements
o Strong relationships with major DSPs including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Pandora and YouTube Music
o Prior success with DSP placement and leading streaming campaigns
o Ability to analyze, report, interpret and act on large amounts of sales data
o Effective communicator and ability to work alongside fellow Pure Noise team members, as well as artists and managers
At Pure Noise, we offer full medical benefits, 401K and two weeks paid vacation every year. Salary ranging from $60,000 - $80,000, but may vary upon experience.
