Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer with at least 5 years of professional grooming experience to join our pet care team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in breed-specific cuts, excellent customer service skills, and a genuine love for animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and haircuts according to breed standards or owner preferences
• Assess pets for skin conditions, parasites, or other health issues and report concerns to the appropriate staff
• Ensure the safety and comfort of each pet throughout the grooming process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools, equipment, and workspace
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming needs and provide after-care advice
• Maintain grooming records and appointment schedules

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional dog grooming experience
• Proficient in handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques and styles
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
