Electronic Engineer – Product Development (Cooking Equipment)
We are seeking an experienced **Electronic Engineer** with a strong background in **consumer product development** to lead the design and development of next-generation cooking appliances. You’ll work on everything from circuit design to prototyping, embedded control, and team leadership—bringing innovative and reliable products to kitchens worldwide.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for commercial/consumer cooking appliances.
* Create schematics and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as Altium or Eagle.
* Develop and test embedded firmware (C/C++) for microcontrollers and hardware interfaces.
* Oversee prototype builds and collaborate with mechanical and industrial design teams.
* Troubleshoot and improve electronic designs based on test feedback.
* Ensure compliance with UL, FCC, and other regulatory standards.
* Manage a team of 2–3 engineers or technicians; assign tasks and track project timelines.
* Work cross-functionally with product management, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
* Stay updated on technology trends and recommend design innovations.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (required).
* 5+ years of experience in electronic product design, ideally in **consumer appliances, HVAC, or electromechanical systems**.
* Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, etc.) and embedded programming (C/C++, Python).
* Strong understanding of power electronics, sensor integration, and motor control.
* Familiar with design for manufacturing (DFM), prototyping, and testing.
* Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
* Prior experience managing or mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
* Designing electronics for heating elements, thermal sensors, or motorized actuators.
* Experience with EMC/EMI testing and certification processes.
* Familiarity with wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) or smart appliance integration.
