Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer of turbojet engines, is seeking a Facility and Maintenance Technician . This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems and equipment at their newly established manufacturing facility in Fulton Co., Georgia. The role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable operations of building infrastructure, production equipment, and support systems, enabling safe and efficient manufacturing throughput.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform both minor and major repairs to building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• System Monitoring: Operate and maintain HVAC and other facility systems for peak efficiency.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance calls and support emergency readiness plans.
• Equipment Setup: Install and configure new equipment and machinery.
• Inventory Management: Manage repair tools, spare parts, and supplies.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation, repair, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving ability with the skill to diagnose and repair issues quickly.
• High attention to detail with a strong safety focus.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work standing for extended periods.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (ITAR-compliant facility requirement).
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% (Europe, first year).
