Our client is fast-growing, family-owned group of companies in the consumer goods space, with a strong footprint in both the apparel and beauty sectors. Operating across retail and wholesale channels. They are seeking a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a direct impact on the business.

Position Overview:

As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, you’ll oversee the full accounting cycle across multiple related entities, playing a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting strategic business decisions. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in retail and wholesale accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for multiple entities.
• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Oversee inventory accounting and reconcile cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Ensure compliance with local sales tax and city tax reporting.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Work closely with the CFO on strategic financial initiatives.
• Process vendor payments and customer invoicing; manage collections.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience.
• Strong background in retail and/or wholesale accounting required.
• Experience with multiple entity accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• High volume data entry experience with accuracy and efficiency.
• Deep understanding of inventory, COGS, and sales tax processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Location: On-Site (Monday-Friday) | Santa Monica

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Preferred (Direct Hire Considered)

Compensation: $35–$38/hour DOE
