Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Process Owner (GPO) to lead global end-to-end process standardization and digital transformation, with a sharp focus on Order to Bill, Customer Master Data quality, and optimization within the Dynamics 365 F&O environment.
As a GPO, you will play a critical role in defining, improving, and harmonizing business processes across regions and functions. You will collaborate with senior business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to scale best-in-class global supply chain processes and ensure data integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Leadership
- Own and drive the end-to-end Order to Bill and Customer Master Data processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and system capabilities.
- Lead the standardization and continuous improvement of related processes across systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Promote data consistency, reduce manual workarounds, and ensure efficient customer onboarding and order fulfillment flows.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a global SME for Order to Bill and Customer Master Data processes, with deep understanding of system configuration and business impact.
- Bring best practices in managing master data quality, lifecycle, governance, and integration across legacy and modern platforms.
- Provide expertise on how to leverage D365 F&O to its full potential, ensuring scalable, future-proof process design.
End-to-End Process Transformation
- Lead global transformation of the Order to Bill cycle, driving automation, data consistency, and simplification.
- Harmonize Customer Master Data structures across regions and tools to support global visibility and reporting.
- Identify and address bottlenecks, leveraging root cause analysis, process mining, and improvement methodologies.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and IT to ensure process adoption, system integration, and end-user support.
- Facilitate alignment between global, regional, and local teams to drive business value and ensure successful rollouts.
Systems Management
- Partner with IT to implement, enhance, and maintain D365 F&O configurations and other platforms supporting Order to Bill and Customer Master Data.
- Monitor system and process performance and use KPIs to ensure alignment with service levels and data quality standards.
- Lead testing, training, and change control efforts related to data structures and process enhancements.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
- Lead global change initiatives to promote process adoption, compliance, and user engagement.
- Manage a Key User network to support continuous feedback, training, and system evolution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, supporting innovation and operational agility.
Global Collaboration
- Ensure global process consistency while supporting regional compliance and business nuances.
- Manage cross-functional teams across time zones to deliver high-quality implementations and improvements.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain, order management, with a strong focus on process ownership and ERP system integration.
- Proven success in leading Order to Bill process transformation, with direct involvement in D365 F&O or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience driving Customer Master Data quality improvements across complex, multi-entity organizations.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, especially modules related to sales orders, billing, and master data.
- Solid grasp of data governance, process mapping, integration, and system configuration.
- Comfortable using digital tools to drive automation, analytics, and process visibility.
Education and certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s preferred.
- APICS CSCP/CTSC, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or data governance certifications are a plus.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience highly advantageous.
