Job Description

HOME AUDIO TECHNICIAN

At this time, we are seeking a qualified technician who will be responsible for testing and entering the inventory of 15-20 pieces of equipment per day. You should be familiar with home audio equipment and its function to sufficiently test a variety of components for our inventory. This position requires a certain balance of efficiency and thoroughness, as the details are important. The job involves working onsite in a warehouse environment unpacking incoming equipment; handling with care; assessing the functional condition and recording any issues; writing a description of the cosmetic condition and documenting other details about the product.

Required Skills:

Technology - Familiarity with Excel and basic use of CRM Applications

Adaptive - the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies is a must. We are a growing, evolving business where the only constant is change.

Organization - Developing and maintaining consistent methods and routines in order to ensure quality and accuracy.

Written communication - must be able to write descriptive sentences with good spelling and grammar. Must be able to communicate in writing with other employees and sometimes with customers or manufacturers.

Repair skills could be useful but aren’t a requisite for the position.

Wages:

This position has a projected hourly rate of $20.00 (depending on experience).
