This role is responsible for maintaining and advancing critical IT infrastructure that supports both corporate operations and specialized robotics systems. You will serve as the technical escalation point for complex issues, while designing and deploying scalable, secure solutions across networks, servers, cloud platforms, and identity management systems. The position blends advanced troubleshooting, strategic projects, automation, and system architecture, ensuring IT infrastructure operates reliably and scales efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement cybersecurity measures, optimize performance, and support both human and robotic operations. This role offers the opportunity to shape IT systems in an innovative, fast-paced technology environment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Implement and manage identity management systems, SSO solutions, and directory services.
• Develop automation solutions to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Lead major IT projects, such as system migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and security initiatives.
• Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical systems.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement advanced cybersecurity measures and compliance frameworks.
• Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively addressing potential issues.
• Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance on complex implementations.
• Document architectural decisions, system configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Expert knowledge of Windows, Linux distributions, and macOS environments.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and network security principles.
• Experience with enterprise identity management, SSO solutions, and directory services.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, startup-like environments.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, MCSE, Okta Certified, Apple ACMT, or equivalent.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools.
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery solutions, and high-availability system design.
• Experience or interest in robotics, IoT, or edge computing environments.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, NIST).
