Job Description

CV Resources is partnering with a dynamic commercial real estate investment firm that is seeking a highly motivated Junior Analyst to support both acquisitions and asset management functions. With a strong focus on due diligence and new property acquisitions, this role offers exposure to all stages of the investment lifecycle. The position is ideal for candidates eager to develop their real estate finance expertise in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisitions:

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential retail property investments.
  • Conduct underwriting and market research to support thoughtful investment theses.
  • Analyze submarket trends, demographics, and comparable transactions using tools such as CoStar and Excel.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date pipeline of target acquisitions and deal tracking.
  • Assist with internal memos, presentations, and investment committee materials.
  • Support due diligence efforts, including reviewing rent rolls, operating statements, and third-party reports.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and strategic analyses as needed.

Asset Management & Operations:

  • Analyze historical and projected property performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Evaluate different operational scenarios and model their impact on investment returns and business plans.
  • Present key findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Asset Management Committee meetings with detailed knowledge of deal assumptions and terms.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, reporting packages, and committee submissions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analysis and reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with CoStar, Argus, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
