About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and people-oriented Driver Team Supervisor to lead and support our team of professional drivers across Florida. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring safety, performance, and service excellence. You’ll act as the go-to liaison between drivers and our operations leadership team, while also fostering a positive team culture and supporting continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on role with a strong field presence, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and is passionate about team development and logistics operations.

What You’ll Do

🚚 Operations Oversight

• Manage cross-dock operations to ensure efficient shipment handling and on-time dispatching.
• Conduct routine truck inspections and enforce maintenance and safety standards.
• Perform random driver performance checks and provide on-the-spot feedback.

🤝 Team Support & Communication

• Serve as the primary liaison between drivers and leadership (Fleet Supervisor, Fleet Manager, and Route Supervisor).
• Visit the Richmond, VA driver team weekly to monitor performance, offer support, and reinforce standards.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and coordinate training as needed.

👥 Team Engagement

• Plan and execute team-building activities to boost morale and engagement.
• Travel to the Buford, GA facility a few times per year for strategic meetings and cross-team collaboration.

🛠️ Customer & Vendor Relations

• Conduct on-site customer visits to address service-related concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain productive relationships with local truck vendors (Penske, Ryder) to coordinate timely maintenance and repairs.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations (driver supervision or team leadership a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
• Comfort working in both office and field-based environments
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• $45,000 base salary
