Job Summary:
The Managing Attorney at DYAD Law will advocate for immigration and immigrant rights. This
position will encompass a broad range of immigration law areas, including, but not limited to, all
non-immigrant visas, humanitarian visas, consular processing, waivers, and representing clients
during USCIS interviews and EOIR court hearings. Additionally, the attorney will handle all
federal litigation and appellate work. This role involves leadership responsibilities, managing a
team, case preparation, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Competencies:
• Comprehensive knowledge of immigration law, particularly non-immigrant visas, humanitarian visas, consular processing, waivers, federal litigation, and appellate work.
• Strong leadership skills to supervise attorneys and support staff, providing mentorship, professional development, and creating a positive team environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex immigration cases, develop strategies to meet case production goals, and ensure timely, accurate case preparation.
• Ability to organize and lead training sessions to support team growth, while maintaining updated knowledge of immigration law changes.
• Strong legal research, writing, and problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement operational improvements, maintain strict adherence to ethical standards, and establish quality assurance protocols.
• Evaluate team performance, provide actionable feedback, and prepare to assume leadership responsibilities within the firm standards and legal requirements, ensuring responsible legal practice.
Education & Experience:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
• Proven experience managing complex immigration cases and leading a team of
professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with competing deadlines.
• Strong legal research, writing, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work remotely or in-office at the firm’s Vista, CA location.
• Access to reliable internet for remote work.
• Must be able to handle the emotional and mental demands of working with sensitive and
sometimes upsetting immigration cases.
Pay & Benefits
• Pay: $150,000 - $200,000/year + quarterly bonuses
• Medical: 75% premium coverage
• 401k: 100% company match on first 3%, 50% on next 2%
• PTO: 10 days/80 hours, increasing after 2 years of employment
