Medical Director - Endocrinology (Obesity)
Location: United States (Remote)

A growing biotech with an expanding late-phase pipeline is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead clinical development efforts in endocrinology, with a focus on obesity. This is a high-impact role where your medical expertise will directly influence trial design, patient safety, and regulatory strategy-driving therapies that could transform lives.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to and execute the Clinical Development Plan for obesity programs

  • Serve as Medical Monitor, ensuring patient safety and data integrity in late-phase trials

  • Lead trial design and provide guidance to study teams, sites, and investigators

  • Collaborate on critical clinical documents including protocols, investigator brochures, and regulatory submissions

  • Interpret and communicate clinical data to drive decision-making

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics, and Medical Affairs

  • Maintain strong external relationships with KOLs, clinical consultants, and investigative sites

What You Bring

  • MD (Board Certification or PhD in Endocrinology or related field preferred)

  • 5+ years of industry experience (or equivalent academic/clinical background); candidates with less experience may be considered for an Associate Medical Director role

  • 3+ years in clinical trial design and execution

  • Proven ability to manage safety monitoring, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
