  • Assist healthcare providers at Minnesota Rehabilitation Medicine Associates in Minneapolis, MN, US with documentation and administrative tasks during patient encounters
  • Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and precise documentation
  • Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Aid in coding and billing processes to guarantee accurate reimbursement
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role is highly preferred
  • Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support is essential for this position
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail are crucial attributes
  • Ability to multitask effectively and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs is a must
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is expected
