Operations Manager

Location: Newtown, PA (On-site)

Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 base salary, plus benefits

Schedule: Full-time with on-call availability

A leading regional provider in the high-touch passenger transportation and livery services space, operating a diverse fleet of 80 vehicles ranging from sedans to motorcoaches. The company handles both domestic and international transport with global partners. Known for its responsiveness, reliability, and strong regional footprint, it is one of the largest players in this niche industry.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will lead day-to-day operations and serve as a strategic partner to the company President. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity requiring strong operational execution, people management, and real-time problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manager Driver Managers
  • Oversee daily operations across all departments
  • Troubleshoot client and operational issues
  • Ensure effective dispatching, scheduling, and service delivery
  • Collaborate with domestic and international transport partners
  • Contribute to driver hiring and retention strategies
  • Manage escalated customer service matters and resolution processes
  • Optimize internal systems and operational technologies
  • Track KPIs and ensure accountability across teams
  • Leverage tools like Samsara (GPS/fleet management); familiarity is a plus but not required

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Background in livery, limousine, delivery logistics, or motorcoach operations strongly preferred
  • Tech-Savvy: Able to navigate and deeply utilize dispatch and fleet management systems
  • Hands-On: Willing to roll up sleeves, engage directly with staff and customers, and resolve root-cause issues
  • People-Oriented: Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport across all levels of staff and clientele
  • Culture Fit: High-energy, fast-paced, and resilient, someone who thrives in a dynamic, always-on environment
  • Leadership: Experience managing frontline supervisors and indirectly engaging with a large hourly workforce

Licensing & Requirements

  • CDL with Passenger Endorsement not required at hire but expected to be obtained (training support provided)
