leading plastic surgery practice in the North Shore is looking for a skilled and personable part-time Receptionist to join their dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll be the welcoming face of our practice, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout their experience. Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Greet each patient with a warm, friendly smile, making sure they feel at ease the moment they step in.
  • Handle all incoming calls, book consultations, follow-up appointments, and coordinate patient visits with our surgeons.
  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, keep records secure, and ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately.
  • Help set up and clean treatment rooms, ensuring a sterile environment. Assist with basic patient care, such as applying numbing cream when needed.
  • Guide patients through insurance inquiries and verify coverage to ensure all billing details are current.
  • Manage a variety of patient needs with professionalism and patience, keeping a calm and composed demeanor, even during challenging situations.
  • Keep patient files organized, both digital and physical, and assist with managing office supplies and maintaining a clean, welcoming front desk area.

Qualifications of the Receptionist:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional healthcare certifications are a plus).
  • Previous experience in a medical office, especially in plastic surgery or cosmetics, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in office software, including scheduling systems and patient management software.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
