Job Description:

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This includes installing and repairing water, gas, and other piping systems, as well as plumbing fixtures and appliances. They would also be responsible for cleaning drains, removing obstructions, and addressing any issues with pipes and fixtures.

Responsibilities:

* Installation: Installing new plumbing systems, fixtures (like sinks, toilets, showers), and appliances (like dishwashers, water heaters).

* Repair: Repairing broken or damaged pipes, fixtures, and appliances.

* Preventative Maintenance: Inspecting pipes, drains, and fixtures for signs of wear and tear, or potential issues and suggesting necessary maintenance or repairs.

* Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations like broken boilers or blocked drains.

* System Optimization: Ensuring the proper function and efficiency of plumbing systems.

* Compliance: Adhering to all relevant plumbing codes and regulations.

Tools and Equipment: Plumbers would likely use various tools and equipment, including pipe wrenches, cutters, soldering tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment, depending on the specific tasks.
