We’re Hiring! Our key client is hiring and looking to add a Project Control Specialist (Cost) to their team. Please check the description below and reach out to us for more details if you are interested.

Pay Rate: $58.00-$87.00/hour on W2

Work Type: Onsite – Must be Local but travel accepted

Location: Chattanooga, TN 37402

Duration: 1-year contract (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement methods for performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, and trend assessment.
• Facilitate programs to ensure the establishment and analysis of specific operational and process improvement plans used for goal setting, estimating project plans, performance indicators/targets, benchmarking, baselining, and trending.
• Coordinate engineering a/e contracts, monitor contract expenditures for usage trends, assist in the process of issuing new contracts, amending existing contracts, and resolve questions, issues, etc.
• Lead/manage the process ensuring the integrity of the process, resolving pending/outstanding requests, and reconciling encumbrances and pending tasks with IBS as required.
• Analyze cost data to find methods of reducing costs and/or increasing efficiency and coordinate a corrective action plan.
• Develop a cost-benefit analysis.
• Develop project budgets and reporting structures for actual expenditures and monitor performance. Assist in developing budgets and reporting structures for actual expenditures and monitor performance as requested.
• Monitor and forecast performance in comparison to business plan objectives.
• Establish ADP support requirements and develop and institute plans to accomplish.
• Assist in developing workload projections (equivalents).
• Conduct special studies, for example: project forecasting, O&M projects, CCO, etc.

Qualifications:

• Degree not required, but strong analytical & problem-solving skills are a must.
• Cost-focused with strong project cost management skills (not an accounting role)
• 3-5 years in construction, energy, or utilities
• Nuclear experience a plus but not required

Technical Skills:

• SAP/S4 Hana, C55, Maximo (plus)
• Excel & MS Office (required)
