Burst Diagnostics is a growing biotechnology company located on the Poudre River in Fort Collins, Colorado. Our team consists of industry leaders in low-cost diagnostics development, microfluidics, virology, and product development. As a team, we are driven to revolutionize the point-of-care and point-of-need diagnostics industry through the development of an ultra-sensitive, easy-to-use, and robust immunoassay platform.
The R&D team at Burst Diagnostics is seeking a collaborative Research Assistant to join a fast-paced research team focused on developing the next generation of diagnostics. This is a full-time position that reports to the Diagnostic Platform Lead, however we may consider a part-time position for the right candidate. The individual will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for a variety of laboratory and bench-top activities including running experiments in collaboration with our team scientists and engineers. The ideal candidate will work well within a team, will be a fast learner, and will have the capacity to quickly adapt to company priorities.
The work will involve immunoassay development, immunoassay optimization, device fabrication, clinical testing, and validation testing and is expected to advance projects towards commercial launch and yield high quality patents and peer-reviewed publications.

This is an in-office position and will involve work in a wet-lab environment.
Salary
$55,000 - $60,000. This is range for those candidates that meet the minimum requirements and is experience dependent.
