Position: Travel Technician Setting up Temporary Facilities, Kitchen Trailers and support Equipment nationwide for events, renovations, disaster relief. Operating/setting up/standby/removal of Temporary structure kitchens, modular kitchens and facilities/generators/climate control/power distribution/Kitchen Trailers/Kitchen and catering equipment/shower & Laundry trailers. Onsite setting up, on standby during events, short and long term setups and operations included.

Location : Home office Sykesville, MD; this position requires nationwide extensive travel

Primary Job Role

· Conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety procedures and regulations, including wearing proper PPE.

· Maintain a necessary set of basic tools required for job setup, operations, and teardowns. Any specialized tools will be provided by RSE.

· Extensive travel, potentially from one day to several months or back-to-back jobs, including weekends, after-hours, night work, and holidays. Some days may require long shifts.

· Work in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, consistently looking for ways to improve work methods, work areas, and safety.

· Tow trailers 6’L-35’L, safely maneuver and back trailers into place.

· Set up, place, and level trailers; unpack units and prepare for client operation; review safety procedures and standard operations; lead and educate users on proper use.

· Place equipment with hand trucks, pallet trucks, and/or forklifts, which includes physical labor.

· Provide clients with professional customer service, presenting oneself in a professional, neat, and clean manner.

· Be available on call 24/7 during events or at the home location.

· Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

· Troubleshoot equipment, read electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting manuals, and replace/repair equipment.

· Clean rental equipment, shop, yard, and job site.

· Provide expenses and job reports.

Requirements

· Pass background checks and drug screening requirements

· Frequent travel (long or short-term)

· Possess a valid driver's license and meet requirements to operate company vehicles

· Obtain a DOT Physical card within the first 30 days

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Basic budget management skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Effective customer relations

· Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

· Physical fitness, ability to lift heavy equipment/materials

· Ability to work outside and stand for long periods in any weather conditions
