Job Title: Roofing Sales Estimator

Job Type: Full-Time | Base + Commissions

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Roofing Sales Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in roofing sales, possess an active and robust book of business , and be skilled in estimating and selling both commercial and residential roofing projects . This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to grow with a dynamic and reputable roofing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate leads and close sales using an existing book of business and company-provided leads.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project scope, materials needed, and labor requirements.
• Create detailed and accurate estimates and proposals for roofing projects (commercial & residential).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships , ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure seamless project hand-offs and execution.
• Stay up to date on roofing materials, codes, and industry best practices .
• Attend networking events, industry trade shows, and engage in local marketing to build brand awareness and grow your pipeline.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in roofing sales and estimating.
• Must have an active book of business and strong industry connections.
• Proven ability to close sales and meet/exceed revenue targets.
• Knowledge of various roofing systems: asphalt shingles, TPO, EPDM, metal, modified bitumen , etc.
• Proficient in estimation software and CRM tools.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

• Experience with roofing CRM/estimation software.
• Existing relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial developers, or general contractors.
