Job Description

About Us:

Kelley Austin takes a different approach to Salesforce Consulting by putting our employees first. That’s not hyperbole, either. Our team takes a proactive approach to employee satisfaction by having every single person fill out a “happiness list,” which comprises the top ten things each employee finds happiness in outside of work.

We review those happiness lists regularly to ensure everyone is checking most of the boxes and adjust their project load, responsibilities, or schedule accordingly if not. Look at our benefits and perks below to learn more about our culture.

We’re growing fast (more than doubling YOY) but staying diligent in hiring the best possible people who don’t just want a job, but will actually care about the success of their co-workers and clients.

Our growth, coupled with the distinction of being recognized as the 'fastest Salesforce Implementation Partner to achieve Platinum/Summit status,' attests to the success of our approach.

Take a look at the ‘About You’ and ‘Responsibilities’ below to learn more:

Benefits:

  • Salary + Bonus Potential
  • 401k and Match
  • Work From Home Flexibility
  • Short-term & Long-term Disability
  • Flexible PTO (we treat people like adults here)
  • Paid Holidays (including an entire week off around Christmas and New Year)
  • 100% Paid Medical and Dental Insurance Premiums for the Individual (50% paid for family)

Tools We Use:

  • As a technology software consulting company, we use many tools, but the big four are Google Drive, Slack, Lucid Chart, and Salesforce, of course.
  • We run entirely off Mac laptops and will set you up on day one with an extra screen, wireless keyboard and mouse, and all the cords and gizmos you need to piece them together.

Perks Of The Job:

  • You won’t really find egos here. We hire slowly and purposefully to keep our culture strong and our team cohesive.
  • We don’t say yes to every client and are not afraid to part ways with a client, either. If there’s no mutual respect or success involved, we politely decline and help them find a different partner. That means fewer ‘tough’ clients and more clients who “get it” and work harmoniously together.
  • Some people love the flexibility of having an office to come into, and KA has an office in North Dallas right off Highway 75, close to Cityline. The office is loaded with snacks, drinks, everything you need to succeed at your job, and there’s even a small gym (with showers) on campus. We’re just a few minutes away from Whole Foods, plenty of great restaurants, and one of the best walking/jogging parks in the DFW.
  • If working in the office isn’t your thing, we offer 100% remote work. About half of our team works remotely, and the other half works remotely most of the time but comes into the office 2-3 days a week by choice.
  • We offer half a dozen different clubs like book club, health club, movie club, hobby club, and more. These bring people together to grow intellectually and get to know one another outside of project work.
  • We have monthly happy hours and company lunches for those that are local. For those who are virtual, we send out $35 DoorDash (or equivalent) gift cards monthly so you can get lunch on us.
  • We host a plus-one event quarterly for you to bring a spouse, partner, or friend to. That could be pickleball, a Texas Ranger’s game, bowling, electric shuffle (look it up, it’s fun), a brewery, or any other suggestions our team comes up with.
  • We host a Summer Bash for employees’ kids and partners, essentially a big pool party, with food and dessert trucks. We also host a themed holiday party at the end of every year with good food, cool prizes, great music, and usually some big activity along with it. The best part is we reimburse for some travel expenses for those who don’t live locally so we can get the whole team together.
  • We donate our time and money to local charities and even create our own. This year, we raised $20K+ in prize money for a local high school and helped them run a ‘shark tank’ style competition where groups of students created and pitched business ideas. Each employee had the opportunity to mentor students each week throughout that process and attend the big event.
  • We work an average of 40 hours per week (I know, that’s unheard of in consulting, but we stand by it).

About You:

  • You know enough about Salesforce to keep up on client calls. We’re not saying you have to have it mastered (no one does), but be upfront about what you can do, can’t do, and can kind of do. We want you to learn from us, and we want to learn from you.
  • Ideally, you work hard and bring both energy and enthusiasm to everything you do.
  • You’re personable, charismatic, and can carry a conversation with just about anyone.
  • You’re humble and eager to learn and grow, but also instill confidence in your team and clients.
  • You care about the details and take pride in your work.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Salesforce Project Manager to lead client projects from kickoff to delivery. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance structure with adaptability in dynamic environments. You’ll be the bridge between clients and delivery teams—ensuring projects are well-planned, well-resourced, and executed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership – Manage end-to-end Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects. Act as the primary client contact, ensuring alignment with project scope, driving project governance, and facilitating decision-making.
  • Project Planning & Execution – Partner with Sales and Delivery to mobilize, kickoff, manage, and close projects. Complete readiness checklists, manage scope and budget, develop project plans, and maintain documentation in Salesforce.
  • Team Resourcing – Ensure projects are appropriately staffed throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate with the PM team to coordinate resources across the company.
  • Risk & Stakeholder Management – Identify and mitigate risks to scope, timeline, or resources. Maintain risk/issue logs, communicate proactively with clients and leadership, and translate business needs into actionable plans.
  • Client Relationships – Build strong, trusted partnerships with clients. Foster a collaborative, positive environment through clear and consistent communication.
  • Quality & Delivery – Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and client requirements. Oversee testing, deployment, and change management, while monitoring project performance and driving continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of project management experience (3+ leading Salesforce projects a plus).
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to adapt in fast-moving, changing environments.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methods.

NOTE: Kelley Austin will not be able to sponsor applicants for work visas.
