Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AutoCAD Technician to join our team. This full-time, in-office role requires a highly skilled professional capable of handling tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will develop tools to improve efficiency, collaborate with project teams, and ensure drafting standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop tools to automate tasks and improve engineering workflows
• Collaborate with the CAD team and employees from various technical backgrounds on projects
• Perform QA/QC for drafting work with oversight from a supervisor or project manager
• Review project requirements to determine scope and design direction
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to establish project requirements and deadlines
• Create drawings using CAD templates, client-specific templates, or existing CAD files
• Complete drafting using information from multiple sources and make necessary corrections
• Review drawings from other CAD team members to ensure consistency with drafting standards
• Provide technical and procedural support to CAD team members
• Perform additional related tasks as required or assigned

Qualifications

• Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting
• Minimum of 5 years of drafting experience in wireless telecommunications or a related industry
• Experience in the wireless telecommunications industry preferred
• Working knowledge of structural and basic electrical systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting platform and drafting techniques
• Ability to analyze multiple sources of information, visualize in three dimensions, and determine appropriate design direction
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively express questions, explanations, and suggestions
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Teams

Authorization

Must be eligible to work in the United States permanently.

Compensation

To be determined based on experience.
