SUMMARY

A leading distribution company is seeking a highly capable and proactive Senior Human Resources Manager to lead and evolve HR practices across its multi-state, multi-site operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the lead HR partner for U.S.-based sites, overseeing a team of HR professionals.
  • Administer core programs: benefits, payroll support, attendance, disciplinary actions, and compliance.
  • Support all phases of employee lifecycle — hiring, onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Lead employee relations and build trust with a large hourly workforce.
  • Assist with immigration-related tasks including H1B, OPT, and related visa processes.
  • Manage workers compensation, FMLA, NJ family leave, STD, and related programs.
  • Coach and support managers on best practices and training efforts.
  • Provide strategic HR support to distribution centers across North America — travel ~2x per year.
  • Partner cross-functionally with payroll, finance, staffing, and compliance teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience supporting hourly workforces in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution settings.
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in handling complex employee relations and performance issues.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law and compliance practices.
  • Hands-on experience with benefits administration and payroll support.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment; must be highly adaptable and team-oriented.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
