Strategic Sourcing Analyst - Temp to Hire

Location: Richardson, Texas. 100% onsite.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $25 - $30/hour

They are building an industry-leading team solely focused on parts and supplies, and they're looking for a dedicated professional to help them achieve success.

This 100% onsite, temp-to-hire role in Richardson, Texas, offers an exciting opportunity to support their Strategic Sourcing team in managing supplier relationships for their non-stocked products and vendor direct program. Reporting to the Manager, Supplier Management, you'll collaborate closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Sales, and Global Sourcing teams to drive overall growth for the Sourced Products team.

What You'll Do:

• Review and implement pricing updates in their system and report on the impact of these changes.
• Update, track, and report on the Pro Perk Account.
• Maintain and update the Supplier Portal.
• Upload and maintain their Contracts database.
• Generate monthly performance reports for suppliers.
• Support Master Data cleanup in SAP to improve data accuracy.
• Generate and track Claim Back reports.
• Assist with sourcing various commodities, tools, and/or parts.
• Support the development and implementation of supplier scorecards for performance reviews.
• Advise and collaborate with buyers, engineers, sales teams, and management to identify new product needs.
• Identify and implement opportunities for material cost reduction from existing or new sources to meet business goals.

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make inferences from diverse data sources.
• Excellent financial acumen and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication skills when interacting with various audiences, including corporate executives and diverse internal project teams.
