We are looking for a Systems Administrator II to join our Information Technology team to help us pioneer a new culture of dentistry. Join our Tribe!

Summary

Responsible for providing network and systems support in a multi-platform, service-oriented culture, including accurate documentation, systems monitoring and administration, diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software problems, end-user technical support of both hardware and software, training on various software applications, and system / network troubleshooting and remediation.

Essential Duties

  • Manages multiple projects related to Information Technology as the result of partnerships
  • Provides Tier 3 assistance for IT Service Desk team members
  • Daily management of the Active Directory infrastructure – OU’s, Group Policies, PowerShell, Scripting, Etc.
  • Verifies the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes
  • Reviews system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
  • Manages all backups of physical and virtual platforms
  • Performs regular file archive and purge as necessary, create, modify, and delete user accounts per request and repair and recover from hardware or software failures, and ensure coordination and communication with impacted constituencies
  • Management of VMware, endpoint patch management, and all servers - Windows Server
  • Office 365 management and not limited to – User Accounts, Dir Sync, O365 Admin Management, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams
  • Windows Remote Desktop Service
  • Advanced WAN and routing troubleshooting and design
  • Scripting and Automation - PowerShell, Python, Etc.
  • Other special projects or responsibilities as assigned

Experience/Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, VMware, Enterprise antivirus, Security, Networking, Firewalls
  • PowerShell scripting and advanced network engineer skills preferred

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or (5+) years of experience may be substituted for a degree

Physical/Environmental

  • Sitting for long periods of time, completing tasks using a computer and other office equipment
  • Job position responsibilities are generally performed in a business office environment with computers, printers and phones
  • May require lifting up to 35 lbs
  • Availability to travel
