Position Overview

We are seeking a Test Technician IV to perform a variety of technical duties including the configuration, calibration, and final testing of sophisticated electronic systems and instruments. This position plays a key role in validating system performance prior to shipment, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with test equipment, and the ability to interpret diagnostic data to support product integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, calibrate, and perform final testing of electronic systems in accordance with product specifications.
  • Utilize diagnostic software, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment to evaluate system performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues in both sub-assemblies and fully integrated systems.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of testing procedures and documentation.
  • Perform electromechanical assembly as needed to support production goals.
  • Accurately compile, document, and report test results in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Ensure systems meet customer requirements for functionality and reliability before release.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following procedures that support contamination control and safety.
  • Support production targets and meet daily output requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test, calibration, and configuration of complex electronic systems or instruments.
  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical training and experience).
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working with and interpreting technical documents including schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move equipment between workstations.
  • Flexibility to support multiple production lines or system configurations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the final test and configuration of high-precision electronic or analytical instruments.
  • Background working in a regulated manufacturing environment with a strong quality culture.
