Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (8 hours per day)

What You’ll Do

• Review and process loan applications for both consumer and manufactured home mortgage loans.
• Analyze financial documents, credit reports, and collateral to make sound underwriting decisions.
• Underwrite loans across multiple programs including FHA, VA, USDA Rural Development, and FNMA, using AUS and manual guidelines.
• Partner with processors, sales staff, housing dealers, and realtors to explain underwriting decisions and ensure smooth transactions.
• Stay up to date on lending regulations, investor guidelines, and program changes.
• Provide excellent service to applicants and colleagues by communicating decisions clearly and resolving issues efficiently.
• Contribute to a team culture built on accuracy, accountability, and customer focus.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in both mortgage and consumer lending.
• Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines (DU/LP).
• Skilled in reviewing tax returns, calculating income, analyzing credit reports, and identifying red flags.
• Working knowledge of appraisals, title reports, insurance policies, and flood certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A professional communicator who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a team.
