At JM Event Planning & Hospitality, we specialize in one-of-a-kind events that blend culture, creativity, and impeccable service. From backyard weddings to lavish pop-up dinners, our team supports chefs and catering partners who bring incredible cuisine—but not always a service team. That’s where you come in.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for sharp, reliable, and upbeat servers who thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments. This isn’t your standard banquet hall gig—we work everywhere from ranches to rooftops, in partnership with chefs and caterers to deliver unforgettable guest experiences.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and break down service areas, dining spaces, and event details
• Receive food deliveries and coordinate with kitchen staff or private chefs
• Serve plated meals, replenish buffets, and maintain clean, professional presentation
• Jump in wherever needed—whether that’s lighting candles, moving tables, or fixing a last-minute seating change
• Deliver warm, attentive service with a can-do attitude
• Travel to various event sites (some remote)

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior event or restaurant serving experience (banquet or off-site catering a plus)
• Comfortable lifting 40–50 lbs and working long shifts on your feet
• Strong communication, teamwork, and quick problem-solving skills
• Adaptability—rain, shine, mud, or magic, you're ready
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to diverse venues
• Positive energy and a passion for making guests feel special
