Warehouse Distribution Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Distribution Manager to lead and coordinate day-to-day packaging and shipping activities within our warehouse. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, inventory integrity, and adherence to quality standards. The position reports directly to the Sr. Warehouse Manager and collaborates closely with the CFO.

Role Overview

This is an active leadership role focused on driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a practical mindset, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Workflow Management

• Validate and verify individual orders in real-time to ensure accuracy in item selection, unit conversions, and quantities.
• Oversee packing and shipping operations to ensure timely, efficient, and correct delivery of all customer orders.
• Streamline processes to enhance overall workflow and reduce delivery errors or delays.

Team Supervision

• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to warehouse team members.
• Encourage collaboration and maintain a productive, safety-focused work environment.

Inventory Oversight

• Track inventory levels to ensure stock availability and coordinate restocking needs with the procurement team.
• Keep precise records of stock movements and flag any inconsistencies or losses.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of inventory control practices.

Operational Improvement

• Analyze warehouse operations to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Participate in evaluating and introducing new tools, technologies, or systems.
• Use metrics and performance data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse or distribution settings, especially with packaging and order fulfillment.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with warehouse or inventory software systems.
• High level of precision and organizational skills.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus

Working Conditions

• This is an on-site role in a warehouse environment involving physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and movement throughout the day.
• Must be comfortable working in varying environmental conditions depending on the season and location within the facility.
