About this role : Well + Good, in partnership with leading social commerce agency Favored, is expanding our TikTok Channel to include live shopping shows and posting shoppable videos recommending and selling products that we have tested and approved. We are looking for a talented personality who will, in collaboration with our editors and producers, host our shows and create our videos. This role will be hired and managed by Favored.

A typical day as host might include:

• Trying out, testing and learning about new products in collaboration with Well + Good editors
• Working with your producer and Well + Good editors to prepare for live shows, selecting the products to be showcased, developing the show strategy, show outline, segments, and talking points.
• Hosting a live shopping show, including answering viewer questions, congratulating viewers who purchase, interacting with your producer and, at times, co-hosting with Well + Good editors and others.
• Shooting a shoppable TikTok, using products and research you and your editor colleagues have collected.
• Working with your producer to analyze show and video results to improve your future content

Role Qualifications :

• Demonstrated experience in creating social content; live experience and TikTok content creation experience are both plusses
• Natural, entertaining, conversational and persuasive on live camera, combined with the ability to convey the trust and authority of the Well + Good Brand
• Relatable to our audience of millennial women, as well as women at slightly older and younger life stages
• Enjoy researching, learning about, talking about and demonstrating products of interest to our audience
• Able to improvise and pivot on the fly with direction from producers
• Able to partner with producers and editors to create social commerce video
• Strong understanding of and interest in TikTok’s features, trends, practices and audience behavior
• Motivated to continually improve by training with our experts

Some Specifics:

• Hybrid role; but note that production will mostly occur onsite at Well+Good and/or Favored Studios in Los Angeles
• Freelance to start with a path to full time employment
