We are seeking a highly skilled and business-minded Medical Practice Manager to oversee all aspects of a busy, predominantly cash-based private medical practice in Broomfield, CO. The Practice Manager will be responsible for strategic and day-to-day management of staff, payroll, employee benefits, HR compliance, financial performance, and business operations, with a strong focus on optimizing EBITDA and driving overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Staff Management- Provide strategic and operational leadership to all administrative and clinical support staff.
- Directly supervise department leads, ensuring performance goals are met and employee engagement remains high.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping, and PTO tracking.
- Manage employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement plans) in collaboration with benefits providers.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee daily operational workflows to ensure smooth clinic functioning and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership to align operational goals with patient care objectives.
- Coordinate vendor contracts, service agreements, and supply chain management.
- Financial Management - Prepare, manage, and monitor annual budgets in alignment with financial goals.
- Track and analyze KPIs, with a focus on maximizing EBITDA and revenue growth.
- Oversee billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes in collaboration with the revenue cycle management team.
- Review monthly and quarterly financial statements, identify performance trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between the practice and the parent private equity group.
- Participate in due diligence, onboarding, and integration of newly acquired practices.
- Share best practices and contribute to the operational playbook for scaling the organization nationally.
- Lead adoption of AI-enabled tools for operational efficiency, financial analysis, and patient engagement.
- Collaborate with technology vendors to implement automation solutions in scheduling, billing, analytics, and HR.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of medical practice management experience, preferably in a multi-provider setting; prior experience in a private equity–backed healthcare environment is a plus.

- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and improving profitability.
- Proven ability to implement and manage technology-driven process improvements.
- Proficient in EMR/EHR systems, practice management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and comfortable adopting AI-powered tools.
- Proven track record of operational optimization and strategic growth.
