Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad a prestigious law firm with offices in New York, is currently seeking a talented attorney to join our Subrogation Practice Group. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and promises a vibrant and enjoyable work environment.
As an attorney with our firm, you will have the exciting opportunity to handle a variety of tasks, including intake, review, actively handling all aspects of discovery, mediation, trial and management of upward of hundreds of claims annually, with the vast majority involving property damage losses, ranging from a few thousand dollars to millions.
Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of two years' experience in drafting legal motions, preparing for court proceedings and depositions, analyzing recovery opportunities for plaintiff claims, and communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel. Valid New York and New Jersey Bar licenses are required, and previous experience in insurance or subrogation law is highly desirable.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000, reflecting our commitment to fair and competitive compensation. Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
