Sodexo Campus Segment is seeking a Retail Manager 3 to oversee retail operations at Northern Arizona University , a large public university nestled in the mountain climate of Flagstaff, AZ. This dynamic foodservice program offers multiple opportunities to learn, grow, and develop competencies across the business, within both national Sodexo brands and internal retail operations.

What You'll Do


  • Lead and mentor frontline teams to ensure accurate cash handling, smooth operational flow, and proper execution of opening and closing procedures

  • Train, implement, and manage department HACCP Safety Programs and Sodexo operational standards to maintain compliance and food safety excellence

  • Oversee daily retail operations ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support brand growth and deliver a consistent guest experience

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and team engagement

  • Manage inventory, labor costs, and retail sales to meet or exceed financial goals

  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture focused on professional development and success

  • Proven leadership experience managing retail or foodservice teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and operational best practices

  • Experience with HACCP safety programs and strong commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills to effectively train and develop team members

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
