SENIOR PARK AND RECREATION SPECIALIST – CENTRAL VALLEY DISTRICT / CULTURAL RESOURCES PROGRAM / COLUMBIA STATE HISTORIC PARK

The reporting location for this position is Central Valley District Office in Columbia, CA. This position will work under the supervision of District Superintendent.   

The Senior Park and Recreation Specialist serves as the District Cultural Resources Manager and is responsible for the ongoing  planning and implementation of programs and projects to preserve and enhance cultural resources for the Central Valley District. The incumbent will supervise a diverse staff of cultural specialists and will act as the district's tribal liaison. Travel will be required throughout the Central Valley and Sierra foothills.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

Special Requirements
