Job Description: Complete assigned work orders using industry best practice and knowledge of water-based systems. Service calls may be for troubleshooting issues found during an inspection or called in by client. Repair calls come from deficiencies noted during inspections and service calls.
Certifications/Skills required: This position requires journeyman level work ethic and experience that demonstrates resourceful problem solving and troubleshooting skills. NICET II or higher certification in ITM or WBS preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience inspecting and troubleshooting fire sprinkler systems is required. Bonus if you also have your backflow certification in WA.
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 to 4:30 generally. Some overtime or weekend work as required.
Specific Tasks:
1. Complete assigned work orders in compliance with NFPA and manufacturer instructions.
2. Complete the correction/compliance report for each service call/repair completed.
3. Review completed work order with client & get signature accepting work as complete.
5. Work cooperatively with clients, AHJ, industry and Metro employees.
6. Represent Metro with integrity.
7. Other tasks as assigned by Field Operations Manager.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage will be negotiated according to skills and experience.

Accruals – Sick Leave & Paid Vacation have a combined accrual of 8 hours per month and can be used after completing 3rd month of employment. Accrual increases incrementally.
