Job Description

As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll lead small to mid-size telecom infrastructure projects, ensuring timely execution, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, handle customer updates, mitigate risks, and ensure accurate project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Drive projects from start to finish, coordinating across departments (design, permitting, construction, operations)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Report progress, resolve issues, and escalate major delays or budget concerns
  • Maintain accurate records in the project tracking system
  • Use tools such as Excel, Power BI, Smart Sheets, and CRM systems to manage data and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory standards

Skills & Tools:

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Smart Sheets, CRM tools, and project databases
  • Familiarity with telecom/wireless deployments, permitting, and right-of-way processes
  • Ability to manage financial metrics and risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience (telecom preferred)
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus
  • Understanding of wireless service offerings and project lifecycle
